Senior Vice President, Manufacturing and Quality

Hans-Bernd Veltmatt was appointed Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Quality for AGCO Corporation in July 2008. He is responsible for strengthening the company's commitment to continual improvements through workforce training and development programs, facility upgrades and manufacturing process improvements.



Veltmaat joined AGCO from Alba AG, one of Germany's leading waste treatment and recycling companies where he served as Group Executive Vice President of Recycling. Prior to working at Alba AG, Veltmaat gained experience in Agricultural equipment manufacturing during his 11 year employment with Claas KGaA in Germany. As Group Executive Vice President of Claas KGaA and member of the Claas Group Executive Board, Hans-Bernd was responsible for 7 international agricultural machinery production companies and his achievements included the start–up of a new factory for combine harvesters in Krasnodar, Russia and the implementation of new production systems into the manufacturing facilities.
