Sunflower

About Sunflower

The Sunflower® brand has a proud tradition in North America, going back to 1941, as the "originators of flexible tillage tools." In the 1960s, Sunflower introduced the first flexible plow on the market, a flexible chisel plow and a flexible offset disc to their growing line of products. Many other innovations, such as the revolutionary four-section disc, have followed to help professional farmers increase efficiency and productivity. In 2002, Sunflower was acquired by AGCO and anchored the Company's Planter and Tillage Division.

Today, Sunflower is recognized around the world as a producer and marketer of top quality products, including primary tillage tools, soil conditioners, land finishers, chisels, field cultivators, disc harrows, grain carts and more. The expertise in the Sunflower production facilities is utilized by AGCO to incorporate specific manufacturing operations into other AGCO factories worldwide.
