Chief Executive Officer, GSI and Senior Vice President, AGCO
Scott Clawson was appointed Senior Vice President, AGCO in December 2011. Mr. Clawson retains his role as President and Chief Executive Officer, GSI, which AGCO acquired in late 2011. Mr. Clawson is responsible for the global GSI business and serves as a focal point for directing all transitional and integration activities.
Clawson joined GSI as President and CEO in 2007. From 2007 to 2011, Mr. Clawson was responsible for repositioning GSI’s strategy and growing the company’s sales and profits. This was accomplished by developing strategies to grow internationally, improving margins, integrating lean operational processes, and completing strategic acquisitions. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Clawson was Chief Executive Officer of Ryko Enterprises, a large vehicle wash system manufacturer. At Ryko, he repositioned the entire company and grew sales and market share by strengthening the distribution, upgrading the sales and marketing teams and driving the implementation of lean manufacturing processes. Between 1998 and 2003 he held various roles at Danaher Corporation, a diversified manufacturing and technology company, including serving as president of Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a $800 million global leader in retail petroleum equipment and services.
Mr. Clawson is a magna cum laude graduate of Brigham Young University and holds a MBA from Harvard Business School.
